Skin as map of self. Skin isolates the skin barrier, thus transforming our skin into a physical room to enter and exit. The viewer experiences the external world through this new barrier, a sown rectangular prism from irregular pieces of faux skin. This barrier is filled with scars, wrinkles, fluctuations in thickness and opacity, and encasing of debris. A slit in down the center functions as the access point between outside and inside.
